What we do not verify
This page is deliberately blunt. It exists because a proof service that does not publish its limits is not a proof service, it is a marketing promise.
What our checks do establish
Six claims, not one more. Each one can be checked in the file, with its date and the person who made it.
That an organisation exists and its head is identified
An official registration has been located, an identity document for the head has been checked, and where applicable a breeding-establishment number registered with CITES has been recorded.
That a document is legible, complete and not expired
The expected fields are present, the dates are valid at the moment of the check, and a validity counter is shown for every document that has one.
That the documents in a file are consistent with one another
The ring number, the transponder number, the species, the sex, the hatch date and the identities of the parties are cross-checked between documents. Any discrepancy is flagged in the file.
That a permit number exists in the public CITES register
The reference is looked up in the public data available. The result is shown with the date it was checked.
That an authority or a law firm confirmed a document, on a given date
When level 2 is ordered, the outcome of the confirmation with the issuing authority is recorded, dated and attributed to the firm that carried it out.
Who declared what, and when
Every declaration, every document filed, every milestone reached is timestamped and tied to the person who completed it, in the exact wording they agreed to.
What our checks do not establish
None of these six lines will ever be covered by a badge, a score or a clever phrase.
The authenticity of a document
Our automated checks read a document, they do not authenticate it. A good forgery passes level 1. Only confirmation with the issuing authority reduces that risk, and it does not remove it.
A bird's captive origin
No administrative document proves a place of birth. A parentage DNA test establishes that a bird descends from the declared parents, not that it hatched in an aviary. That is precisely the gap trafficking exploits.
A party's solvency or good faith
We rate no one. We consult no solvency file. The absence of a known dispute is not a prediction of behaviour, and we will never turn it into a sales argument.
The bird's actual health status
A veterinary certificate attests to an examination on a given date, under a practitioner's own signature. It does not describe the animal's condition the following week, or its housing conditions between the examination and the flight.
Performance of the sale contract
SaqrBridge is not a party to the contract. It does not hold the funds, does not hold the bird, does not arrange the transport, and guarantees neither delivery nor payment.
The overall legal compliance of a deal
A legal opinion covers an arrangement as described, on a given date, under a given applicable law. It does not cover what the parties do afterward, or facts they failed to disclose to the firm.
Why this page is public
There are two reasons, and neither one is moral.
The first is defensive. One day, a badge shown by SaqrBridge will be challenged. A bird will be seized, a document will turn out to be false, a deal will go wrong, and someone will say: your site said this file was verified. On that day, the only defensible position is that of a platform that wrote down in advance, in plain language and next to its badges, what its checks covered and what they did not. A limit published before the incident is a limit. A limit dug up afterward is an excuse.
The second is commercial. A market where everyone promises everything is a market where no one is believed any more. In international falconry, buyers have already seen certificates, guarantees and attestations that turned out to be worthless. Differentiation no longer comes from what you claim, it comes from what you refuse to claim. Writing down our limits is the fastest way to make the rest credible.
The consequence is deliberate: a complete SaqrBridge file never says a transaction is safe. It says what was checked, by whom, when, and how far that check reached. It sells less well, and it is the only thing that survives scrutiny.
