Legal framework

The whole design of the service rests on one distinction: SaqrBridge organises the evidence, it does not vouch for it. This page states what it is, what it is not, and how far its liability goes.

What SaqrBridge is not

Not a seller, nor a buyer

The platform acquires no bird, sells no bird, and is never a party to the sale contract concluded between users.

Is not

Not an agent

It does not act in the name of, or on behalf of, either party, and cannot bind anyone in a negotiation.

Not a custodian

It holds no bird, no original document and no funds. It keeps digital copies and their timestamps.

Not a carrier or forwarding agent

It does not arrange transport, book no flight, and stands in for no forwarding agent named on the case file.

Not legal advice

It gives no legal opinion. Opinions are given by lawyers, in their own name, to their own clients, under their own professional civil liability.

Not a certifying authority

It issues no certificate, no licence, no permit. It displays checks carried out by others, with their date and their scope.

What it is

A technical third party for matchmaking

It hosts listings, purchase requests and a logged messaging system, open to organisations whose registration has been approved.

A case-file organiser

It imposes a structure, an order of steps, expected documents and validity counters, so that an expired document is visible before the flight, not after.

A broker for ordering verifications

It forwards a case to a firm or a laboratory, collects payment for the service, and hands back the deliverable exactly as signed by its author.

An archive of declarations

It keeps a record of who declared what, on what date, in which version of the text, with that text's fingerprint and the timestamp of the act.

Limitation of liability

CapSaqrBridge's liability is capped at the amount of fees actually collected on the case concerned.

What it is liable forIts own service: keeping the documents filed, their timestamps, forwarding them to the designated third party, and the accuracy of how it displays each check's scope, dates and limits.

What it is not liable forThe parties' own declarations, the authenticity of the documents filed, performance of the sale contract, transport, payment, and the opinions given by firms in their own name.

Why a cap at this levelThe platform collects only a small fraction of a transaction's value. Liability indexed to the value of the bird would make a technical third party bear the economic risk of a contract to which it is not a party, and no insurer would cover it.

Each one acts in its own name, delivers its work to the client and bears its own liability. SaqrBridge organises the order and never takes an opinion as its own.

How to read the statusThe prospect status means the partnership is not concluded: the organisation is listed here because it has been identified and contacted, not because it has committed. No verification can be ordered from a structure that has not signed an agreement, and the name shown is neither a recommendation nor an endorsement on its part.

How roles are split on a verification

When a client orders a layer-2 or layer-3 verification, the order screen shows, before any payment, the name of the firm that will handle it, the exact scope of its work, the nature of its liability and the stated turnaround. The price visibly separates the platform's share from the firm's.

The deliverable handed over is the firm's own document, on its letterhead, signed by it. SaqrBridge archives it, timestamps it and displays it in the case file. It does not rewrite it, summarise it, or republish it under its own name.

Legal review in progressThe fee arrangement between the platform and the firms, as well as the nine consent statements published on this site, are a working draft and are currently under legal review.
